Description of Service

Mindful Kiddo is a company providing 30 minute Mindfulness Classes for Child Care Centres ELC, Kindergartens and Playgroups. Instructors may include, but are not limited to qualified kids yoga teachers, mindfulness teachers and fitness instructors. Frequency of classes may vary from weekly or fortnightly classes, to monthly classes. Our program design works alongside the Early Years Learning Framework, ensuring that Learning Outcomes are met, reinforcing each centres goals and vision for a positive and inclusive learning experience for all children.

Instructors/Teachers who facilitate classes with Mindful Kiddo must be qualified children’s yoga instructors, mindfulness instructors or fitness instructors. Instructor is an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR and he/she will be solely responsible for providing all equipment, supplies and services that are required to run successful Mindfulness Class.

As part of best practice we recommend Instructor to have current professional indemnity insurance coverage, Police Clearance and RAN-EC training.

PLEASE READ THE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTRATION. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THIS SITE NOR REGISTER FOR THE SERVICES. BY ACCEPTING THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS YOU ALSO ACCEPT THE PRIVACY POLICY.

Registration and Service Fees

By registering to Mindful Kiddo services you also agree to: “I understand that Mindfulness include physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education and relief of muscular tension. As in the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, event serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated.

Mindfulness is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Mindful Movement is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether my child is fit to practice Mindfulness. I also understand that supportive and encouraging touch, massage, and partner and group interaction is an integral part of this class.

I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that my child/children now or hereafter, may have against Mindful Kiddo instructor. “

In order to enrol a child to Mindfulness Class you must register directly via the Site or fill out enrolment paper form. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as required to maintain accuracy, currency.

You understand that Mindful Kiddo is a fee paying service; Regular classes are subject to PAYMENT IN ADVANCE. First trial class is always free and does not require online booking. Fee per class is $9.

We offer discount for child care employees 20% which require special discount code. Mindful Kiddo reserve the right to terminate or amend Terms and Conditions and change fee for the Services, in whole or in part, at any time and for any legitimate reason.

Fees and frequency of Mindfulness Classes provided to institutions which cover full or partial costs may vary and are upon individual negotiations. General fee for a class up to 25 children is $80.

Payment for Service

By enrolling your child to our service you agree to purchase subscription plan with a regular monthly fee of $36. Your child can attend up to 4 classes per month at chosen centre. The payment is renewed automatically unless cancelled.

You will provide Mindful Kiddo with valid and updated credit card or PayPal information. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing and contact information and notify us of any changes to such information.

You may pay using PayPal or Stripe. All payments are made using SSL encrypted connections (https) for maximum security. Our payment service providers will never share your financial information with us. As a contracted vendor PayPal assume all responsibility for financial arising from any breach in their service.

In connection with your requested booking, you will be asked to provide billing information such as name, billing address to PayPal. You agree to pay Mindful Kiddor for any confirmed bookings made in connection with your Mindful Kiddo registration in accordance with these Terms by one of the methods described on the Site, by PayPal or credit card. You hereby authorize the collection of such amounts by charging the credit card provided as part of requesting the booking directly by one of the payment methods described on the Site. You also authorize Mindful Kiddo to charge your credit card in the event of Late Cancellation (check “Cancellation Policy”) you are subject to terms and conditions governing use of PayPal’s service and that third party’s personal information collection practices. Please review such terms and conditions and privacy policy before using the services. Once your confirmed booking is complete you will receive a confirmation email.

If any amount owing by you under this agreement for our service is 14 days or more overdue we will suspend our Service to you until such amounts are paid in full.

Cancellation Policy, Refunds and make up classes.

You must adhere to a 14 days cancellation policy. You may cancel subscription any time upon 14 days by sending an email to hello@mindfulkiddo.com.au

For clarity, if you cancel your subscription prior to conclusion of your current 1 month period you will remain responsible for payment for all subscription fees through the conclusion of your current subscription plan. Make sure you will cancel your subscription 14 days prior last day of your current subscription.

You are eligible to miss up to 2 classes over period of 3 months and receive refund. To receive refund you need to contact Mindful Kiddo at hello@mindfulkiddo.com.au.

Mindful Kiddo runs classes all year round except weekends, public holidays and Christmas break from 24th December to 1st January. The classes return on second Monday after 1st January. You can request longer break over Christmas and summer school holidays up to 5 weeks without financial consequences if you email Mindful Kiddo by 24th December.

You can suspend your subscription for period of minimum 2 weeks (i.e school holidays or other planned breaks) and maximum of 5 weeks (Christmas break). To do so please send an email to hello@mindfulkiddo.com.au with 7 days notice.

If any class has to be cancelled on Mindful Kiddo request, you will receive refund or make up lesson over a period of attending Mindful Kiddo Program.

Photography/recording Policy

We are using Seesaw app to share and communicate with families. Seesaw is private; you will only see posts about your child and general mindfulness classes posts. To have full access to Seesaw content you need to give Mindful Kiddo permission to take photos/videos of your child during class activities.The photos/videos will be used only to produce weekly online updates on seesaw app and will not be stored on mobile devices. Seesaw is a secure, digital portfolio that gives you real-time glimpses into your child’s class experience. Our instructors use only DIGITAL CAMERA WITH DEDICATED MEMORY CARD.

Mindful Kiddo will under no circumstances sell, trade or rent any personal information that you supply to us to any third party. In short, information you supply to Mindful Kiddo stays with Mindful Kiddo.

As part of the normal operation of this site, your Internet Browser will be sent a “cookie” (a temporary Internet file). This cookie enhances our site’s functionality with features such as membership logon and electronic ordering. By itself, this cookie can only identify your computer to our server; it is not used to identify you personally.

What information is collected by this site, and how is it used?

Mindful Kiddo website collects browse statistics from this site to track traffic patterns. This may include the URL (web address) you came from, the URL you are going to, the browser you are using, and your IP address. We use this information to do internal research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behaviour to better understand and better serve our users. This information is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis.

If you decide to register to any of our mindfulness classes, and we hope that you do, Mindful Kiddo will ask you for personal details such as your name, date of birth, contact phone numbers and your email address. Whether you decide to use this service is your choice.

We use your email address, your mailing address, and phone number to contact you regarding administrative notices, publications, and communications relevant to your use of the site. If you do not wish to receive these communications, you have the ability to opt out by contacting the Mindful Kiddo office.

From time to time, we may decide to collect different kinds of information. When this occurs, we will update this privacy page.

Our Commitment to you

We use standard mechanisms to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layers. However, it is important to recognise that “perfect security” does not exist on the Internet.

Credit Card Information

Mindful Kiddo does not store credit card information anywhere on this site.

COVID-19 safety policy

At the time of COVID-19 and concern around community wellbeing, we would like to share with you our approach to enhancing our already vigilant hygiene and safety practices. In the best interest of the children, families and staff we are introducing additional strategies to address the concerns about hygiene management.
What we will do
• All children will perform hand hygiene prior to commencing class and on completion of their class.
• We are limiting the use of mindful tool to the tools that can be sanitised using hospital grade disinfectant in-between classes.
• All mats and equipment used during classes will be washed and sanitised following each class or not used at all.
• Our teachers will be supported to self-isolate should they feel unwell.
• All our teachers have been provided with education, information and will be kept updated about COVID-19 and adhere to personal hygiene requirements.
